Sourcing

Over the past 25 years, I have worked closely with collectors and interior designers, pursuing pieces at all price levels. My role has been to listen, guide them as to possible purchases, protect them with regard to pricing and quality, and most importantly, to make the experience a satisfying one.

I have built up a network of sources throughout Europe and the US. The hunt requires diligence, thoroughness and perseverance but it is immensely exciting to come across a piece and know instantly that it will be appreciated by a client - I derive great satisfaction from bringing the two together. In working with individual clients there is a magic to the process--a combination of leading and being led.

In sourcing and advising clients, my one golden rule is to only recommend or buy what it is I love and would want to live with myself.

Pieces that have a presence and will continue to give pleasure for years to come. To me the value of a piece is the pleasure it gives, and the question I continually need to ask myself is "Will this continue to delight?"

I greatly enjoy what I do, and work hard at it. My philosophy is that if I take good care of my clients, all our interests are best served. I nurture the long-term and want satisfied clients who look forward to the next possible purchase.

Here are a selection of pieces I have sourced for clients which gives a flavour of my eye and taste.
